Although Granola Mama’s products are formulated for even those with the most sensitive skin, every body is different. Extremely rare, but If you experience any reaction to any of the ingredients, discontinue use.

tallow is a rendered form of animal fat. at Granola Mama i source the highest quality fat that surrounds the kidneys (the most nutrient dense for skincare). I then render it using my proprietary process in my apothecary over the course of 5 days to ensure it is odorless and free of bacteria whilst keeping all nutrients in tact!

While I would feel 100% safe using my products during pregnancy and also have many customers that do, Blue Tansy Essential Oil in my Glow Up Serum + Tallow Love Facial Cream only two ingredients that have some concerns around them.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND I formulate with these essential oils at an appropriate and educated dilution to their carrier oils that would make these oils pregnancy safe. I like to legally disclaim to check with your midwife or doctor before introducing any new product into your routine that you may be iffy about!

Granola Mama does not use synthetic preservatives so your products WILL expire. Each product has a 12 month shelf life. I am a small batch company; this means that all products are made fresh and shipped off to you within two weeks of production. If for whatever reason you feel your product is not 100% fresh when you receive it, please email me!

My Skin Food has a strange consistency!
My Skin Food has a strange consistency!
No worries here! This is a commonly asked question and nothing to worry about! First, your Skin Food is NOT bad. Those little balls are from the raw Shea Butter in the Skin Food. What happens is when the Skin Food is heated up by warm temps and cools down too slowly, the raw shea butter crystallizes into little balls. The Skin Food must be reheated to a liquid state and then placed into the refrigerator to cool down quickly.
